Hector: I'm Hector... I just work maintenance.
Carter Duryea: Well, Hector, [shouts] Are you psyched?
Hector: I'm psyched!
Carter Duryea: Well, if Hector's psyched, then, [shouts] I know I'm psyched!

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (Locks on Records)

[after shooting each other]
Gary: What the fuck are you doing here?
Barry: What the FUCK are YOU doing here?

Learn about releasing locks on records.

With Efficy, you and your team can work together on the same set of records. But imagine what could happen if two users edited the same document at the same time... Who would win? Who would loose every change he made?
Well, that's why, when you edit a record in Efficy, it automatically gets a lock. If anyone else tries to edit the record at the same time, he or she gets a warning and the record is opened as read-only.
However, the first user can release the lock for the second user to be able to edit the record.

Firefox (Internet Browsers)

Upenskoy: [indicating a gun] : You can use this?
Maj. Gant: Yeah, I can use it.
Upenskoy: Good. DON'T, unless it's absolutely necessary.

Compatibility with non-IE browsers (Firefox, Safari,...)

Though Internet Explorer stays the recommended browser, the user experience with non-IE browsers like Safari and Firefox is enhanced with Efficy 2009.
For example: attached files are managed automatically with a Java Applet instead of ActiveX technology.

She Wore A Yellow Ribbon (Office 2007 integration)

Captain Nathan Brittles: [Cohill and Pennell are about to fight over Olivia] Button your shirt, Mister Pennell! Thought better of you. Four years out here and still actin' like a wet-eared "kaydet" on the Hudson.

Ribbon-like buttons in the Office 2007 integration

Captain Brittles is right: buttons can make a strong impression. That's why the integration between MS-Office 2007 and Efficy 2009 pays special attention to its buttons. You will appreciate the ergonomics of the ribbon and the large buttons.
